130 Lancets” and “I Just Want to Eat”, are a part of a series still in process focusing on the emotional impact of Type 1 Diabetes. “130” is the number of finger pricks by lancets a typical diabetic would have to check their blood sugar per week (if they were not using a CGM). These pieces are to help non-diabetics understand the daily trauma of living with a chronic disease.
